Opened up the headlights on my 2008 TLType S today to do a clear lens swap and some other work, I snapped the clip that holds the round encasement that holds the sense in. Not too many options .... I probably have to resort to electrical tape. How hot does the outside of the projector get? I know it comes in close contact to the inner plastic surround so I think I'm probably ok. Thoughts on this? Also, I wouldn't imagine that enclosure us sold without buying the entire headlight...but who knows.

 

Some people are selling some 3G TLnprojectors in the black market so buy the projector for the clip . Sure beats it falling off when the electrical tape fails and you have to bake the headlight all over again
