As the title states, is there a way to disable the factory alarm permentaly on a 2006 Acura tl? I don't want it interfering with my aftermarket alarm. It did it once when I had the viper smart start. I don't want it to happen again with my st800 smart system. So please let me know if there's a way to disable the factory alarm completely. Basically making my aftermarket alarm my " factory alarm" thanks for any help

Is there a fuse to the factory alarm that we can just pull out?

 

it doesn't sound like something that can be done that easily..... but idk

 

How exactly did it interfere with the viper alarm?

 

After installing my viper alarm. My factory alarm was going off for no reason. At first it was bad door pins. But then i stopped using my viper remote fob so I just started using the factory fob for about 2 months and everything was fine.then one day I decided to use the viper fob. The car locked and after like about an hour my factory alarm started going off again. Every 10-25 mins it would go off By itself. It was just a keyless entry not an alarm btw. So I decided to take the smart start completely off and no more probleM
