How to find Radio Code

My Headunit if failing- and I am looking to pick up a used one from ebay or a seller. In case they dont happen to have the code, how can you obtain the radio code incase it is locked ever in a situation?

you might have the code in your owners book, or when you open your glove box look in there there might be a sticker,
mine was on the right side of the glove box....
