How Do You Get Unlocked Phone To Work?

I now have a Motorola V300 with Tmobile (no bluetooth). I'm thinking of buying an "unlocked" Motorola V600 off of ebay. Now how do I transfer my service to this phone? Do I need to go to TMobile and have them do it or what? Any help would be appreciated.

T-Mobile uses SIM card. Just open the cover of your old phone, remove it, and insert it into the new acceptable phone...

I just did the same thing from a V60 to the V600. As rets says, just pop out the SIM card and put it in the V600 and everything will work fine.

these men are correct, your subscriber information is all contained in that chip. you can put it in any GSM phone that's not locked and it will work

don't go buy an unlocked v600. As of today it is available from Tmobile. I don't know the site offering it, but if you are willing to extend your contract, etc, you could probably get one for $50 or Free after rebates.

Check the tmobile forum at www.howardforums.com
