how is this for a car pc?

well.. since i have many computer parts laying around, i was thinking about purchasing one of this and put rest of components in.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Carputer-Car-PC-...QQcmdZViewItem

my car pc use is going to be..

watch some high quality divx movies
browse internet
listen to mp3s
use gps
and i guess that's about it..

after looking for parts, this does not seem too expensive.. what do you guys think?

very frustrating to learn the procedures, but hopefully i can get started within 2 months.

i just had this urge to do this on my own... help me do this

pretty cool idea, saves you some work and its a good looking package. Add in a HD & Ram and it looks like you can save alittle money! If you can install it yourself you can get it done for under a G

Do the parts add up to be that much if you purchased it piece by piece? I haven't price shopped but I feel that might be a bit high, but I could be totally wrong too.
