High to Low Adapter

I will do a RF 3.sixty v2 in the future but in the mean time i was thinking that something like this will work for now. Just a cheap option to get way better bass than stock one for now until i get the 3 sixty. Would this be a bad idea?

And i can still use the factory system to control the bass. I mean this is a good option for other people out there that just want to upgrade the sub without having to go extreme. Good part is the factory amp already only send the bass signal to the factory sub. I dont know how well the rest of the speakers will sound if you keep the factory amp and use aftermarket speakers. Cheap upgrade without spending a lot of money.

Sorry for the dumb question, but you are going to install an amp and an after market sub, right?
