HFL Will not clear paired phones (3rd Gen)

I have seen a couple questions on this issue, from years ago, with no resolution. Went to pair a new phone, HFL stated I have 6 phones paired and must delete one. I tried deleting one, tried clearing entire system....it takes you to the last step, when you say "OK" on final step it goes into repeat mode of last 2 questions. Contacted Acura, no resolution on their end except to take to dealer. I already swapped unit myself a few years ago when it stopped working. Anyone have a fix?

Get rid of it. It will stop working eventually and drain your battery and leave you in a wayside ditch.
