HFl Volume Control

My TREO 650 works great with my 05 WDP AT NAVI TL.

I have a nagging problem, however. I use the HFL ad voice-command calling mny times a day (I'm a realtor here in the Valley of the Sun).

The problem I have is with the volume of the HFL link voice. It's much louder than the phone volume. I know I can change the NAV system volume, but I don't see any way to change the HFL voice volume.

Thanks in advance,

David

ahgil - thanks for the quick response.

I understand that I can simply turn down the knob. My question relates to the overall volume of the HFL voice. For example, in the "setup 2" screen, I can turn up or down the navigation system volume. That way the prompts and directions (from a woman, in my case) are as loud as I set on that screen.

I am looking for a similar control for the voice that confirms my HFL commands. Right now, I hang up from one call, where my volume is probably on 34 in order to hear the other person on the phone, and go to dial a new number. At 34, the HFL voice that confirms my "dial" command blows out my eardrums. I'm not happy with having to turn up and turn down the volume constantly, since I use my phone all day long.

Any ideas?

Thanks again,

David

when you are on calls, is your phone's volume all the way up? the reason being is that if your phone's volume is all the way up, then you may not need to put the car's hfl volume on 34 to hear the other person...

try increasing your phone's volume all the way and then the right volume should be around 20...

I agree, I have a nokia 6600, and my handset volume is always at max. (unless my wife is yelling at me j/k) and I can easily and loudly hear the person on the other end at HFL vol 10-15.

Thanks for the suggestions. It makes sense. I may have my phone volume too low and I compensate for it by cranking up the HFL volume.

I'll try it once I get over this flu. Meawhile my baby sits in the garage.

Thanks again,

David
