HFL, V3C, Voicemail Dialing---I searched!!
Okay, I searched, I've read, I've tried...and no success.
Here is the situation: Just got the Verizon V3c.
I want to set it up to call voicemail through the HFL.
I have programmed it into the car in a bunch of different ways. However, in most cases when I get to the XXXX# part that is my pin, I just hear a long tone, as if someone were holding down the button on the phone.
I was able to get a bit closer by programming *86_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _XXXX# in that I head the lady ask for the pin and then the numbers were dialed but again all I heard was a long tone.
Can anyone offer any help with regards to this? Or has anyone experienced this?

Are the spaces you put in supposed to represent pauses?
On a seperate note, I don't know if VZW supports this or not, but is it possible just to have it so when you dial *86 from the handset, that it lets you in voicemail without a pin number? I know some carriers allow this as an option. Perhaps you can do that

Its weird. Sometimes I have it dial *86 and it just makes a long tone and other times the call goes and I hear the lady.I get it to dial the *86 and get to actually typing in the pin by programming *86 p p p 0 p 1835# It always stalls at the #. anyone else have suggestion. Im getting tired of reprogramming the voicemail number. Im about ready to give up
