Hey guys, I have an 07 acura tl base model and my HFL has a lock code on it that I'm not able to access. I even brought it to the acura dealer ship to get them to try to reset it with their computer/scantool and it didn't work either.

Does any one out there know how to fix this problem..??..

 

The service manual says that the Acura dealership's HDS (computer) is necessary to unlock the HFL. If you bought it from the dealership take it back and tell them to fix it under their used car warranty. If you didn't buy it from them you will most likely have to pay them to unlock the HFL but if you pay them you can demand that they fix it.

 

Thanks beach guy.. i'll give them a call asap to see what they'll say about it.. like I said though I brought it to one dealership already and they tried resetting it and it didn't work, I hope I won't need to replace the hfl..
