The HFL link on my 07 Type-S doesn't receive calls. I checked Acura's

website and found that Motorola e815 is compatable-allegedly.

The HFL does work with saving numbers and making phone calls.

Does anyone else have this issue??

 

I currently use an E815 with my 06 TL without any issues. I've been doing this for close to a year now. The only issue I've had is that when the phone is on vibrate or vibrate & ring modes, the HFL doesn't realize the phone is ringing till much later or ever. But with silent, loud or soft it works flawlessly..

Does your HFL even ring when you get an incoming call??

 

The audio system mutes, and there is no ring tone although I set the system for an audible prompt. I push the talk button and I get nothing.

I have a dealer appointment scheduled.....

 

OK, so it seems to be partially working as the audio is muted. The dealer might be able to fix it by replacing your HFL unit..
