My HFL is making me nutz! On most outgoing calls, it frequently fails to recognize the first digit I recited. If I say 917XXXXXXX, It frequently comes back with either a 017xxxxxxx or 217xxxxxxxx or 0217xxxxxxx. It does understand me on the 2nd (or sometimes the 3rd) attempt, however. Do I need to replace the HFL unit, or should I bite the bullet and get a BT45-HON3 unit? That way, I'll be able to use my smartphone to play music since my tape player is broken anyway.

Looks like there's an updated version that people updated their HFL to a "new" version and their issues such as yours are fixed.
