HFL display with V710
Does anyone have these problems solved yet?
1. HFL is not displaying the signal information!
2. HFL does not display battery information!
Other than that, The phone is working great.
Thanks,

September 1 is the date that keeps popping up in Verizon stores, in conversation with Verizon CS reps, and in conversation with Pakistani QC guys at Motorola's outsourced contact centers

Text messages and HID
Just got my V710 and noticed that when I have a text message stored in my phone's inbox, an envelope (closed) icon appears in the TL's MID along with the number 1. Since then, I received two additional text messages but the number does not increment in the HID. Anyone else seeing this? Am I wrong in assuming it is the number of messages I have in my inbox? For those of you thinking that I should RTFM, I have.

Sorry, Chips_Ahoy - But you got an HMI problem (Hazardously Misleading Information).
The envelope with the "1" that you see on your MID display has absolutely nothing to do with the phone.
What is does indicate though, is that you have a "car maintenance message" that needs attention. For example, have you checked your "Oil Life" indication recently? I'm betting that you are due for an oil change soon ...
