HFL Compatibility with 2005 TL
HFL Compatibility with 2005 TL
I am about to purchase a new bluetooth cell phone. I've seen the compatibility list here in this forum, and the list on Acura's web site. Even with this information, I cannot tell which phones (i) provide ALL information (including battery and signal strength) back to the MID; and (ii) of those phones that provide all information to the MID, those that DO NOT have other glitches or annoyances. In other words, what phones interface with the HFL perfectly? (if any at all!). Thanks!
Well I have the Nokia 6820 paired w/ the HFL. It doesn't show any battery or signal meters, just like all the Nokia's won't. I don't or never had any glitches w/ my phone.
I know AT&T, which is my carrier, has a 30 day return or cancellation policy. You can try out different phones & see which ones you like. I exchanged 4 phones 'till i got the one I liked & the 30 days starts over w/ every new phone. You can try and find out if other carriers or your own have this policy.
Hope that helps.

Thanks. I may try that with AT&T, but I've got the feeling that dealing with their customer service department on returns/exchanges to find the right phone will be a nightmare.
