Could someone tell me where exactly is the HFL unit located i am trying to replace mine.

It's in the overhead console. Use the sticky post at the top of this "Problems" forum to find the TSB page. Do a search for "HFL" on that page and you should find a TSB that will have a diagram. I think it's 5-20.

I highly recommend you purchase the Acura Service Manual. Well worth the $50-$60. It can pay for itself with one DIY.
