So, today I was going to try to fix my navi because I kept getting the "disc read error" message Well, I disconnected the battery, got the navi almost out, it was seconds before I unplugged the navi that I realized the disc was still inside. I turned the car back on an tried to eject the disc, nothing.

I am now getting "Please Check Your Disc" across the navi screen. The navi won't light up and it won't eject the disc.

What the hell do I do now?

 

Anyone?!

I'm really trying to avoid going to the dealer.

I didnt read the whole thread, just trying to help you out.

 

That first thread is what I was going to do. Now the navi won't power up at all FML

I'm going to try hooking the navi up to another power source and try that because the disc is still inside.

If I can't power it up I'm taking a ride to the dealer and if they refuse I guess it's off to Alpine or iPad Mini dash install. :/
