Help removing the front Grill

Hey Just a quick? I am installing my zr3 laser shifter and I am think Im puting it right under the hood bye the grill inserts. This is per the people at escort for optimal performance. I dont want to saw the plastic to make it fit so I was going to remove it and do a test fit befor I do any type of cutting. Does anybody know how to remove that piece or do I have to take the bumper off to take off the mesh. Thanks

Im using spots 1 and 2

remove the tabs at the top when you open the hood, that should get you behind the grill and access to the tabs (i believe) to pop the grill out of place

Some people have reported that they can get between the grille and the radiator from the bottom, and there is enough room to put your radar detector stuff in there and secure it to the brackets with tie straps.

If you want to remove the grill, you have to remove the front bumper, and the grill comes off with it.

I am going to move this to BT/Navi where more radar people will see it. If you don't get any good info by tonight, I will try and get a picture of the page from the service manual into this thread.

Pretty much its a nice way of saying JAMMER. They way it works is if you are lazed and have just a detecter. Its going to go beeeeeeeeeeep. but guess what your toast dont even bother slowing down just pull over. The way the shifter works is that if you get lazed it actively blinds the gun and sends it back all 000's for the speed. With laser guns the cop is supposed to do it a couple of times cause sometimes the gun doesnt get a good reading so when he goes to shoot you again and you have slowed down to the right speed. You can tap the mute button 2x and it disables it and allows him to get your speed. Although you could just leave it on and take the chance that the cop will want to talk to you.

did you mount it behind the grill or did you modify the grill so they would stick out the better.
