Help with pre-factory amp signal

alright so i decided i want to redo the audio in my 04 tl w/ navi
i will replace the
-fronts along w/ the tweaters with components
-the rears with coaxial
-get a sub w/ enclosure in the trunk
-replace the center speaker

i plan to get and amp to power the speakers and sub probably JLXD 700/5
and a smaller amp for the center

Ive been researching and everybody says the cleanest sound comes after the HU before the amp. What should i get to convert that signal to RCA. Everybody says its not a strong enough signal so what would i have to do

I also want to have aux in

With that amp you really dont need any line driver, so going straight from the head unit to the amp should be fine as it has a very low sensitivity input and high SNR. Dont worry about the rears, leave the stock ones if you want some rear fill which will be more then enough. Bridge the channels on the amp and feed 150 watts to each side, it will make a huge difference in terms of dynamics. I wouldn't worry about the center channel, you can leave that as is as well ....

So many different threads with so many missing pieces to the puzzle. Hopefully Steven Bell will be by to merge all of these threads.

If you're using the MS-8 then you'll need a line driver. No question.

If you're going straight into the an amp like the one in question, you can get away with not using a line driver. Not every amp will be able to do this though.
