I would just take all the stuff out and put either foam or felt in those areas. Besides the rear deck, where else does it rattle?

let them shoot forward instead of backwards. meaning trough the armrest and seal of the trunk from the subwoofers. sound million times better and no rattels whatsoever

my shelft cover is rattle like crazy too. i have 120w 8" sub drop in the stock hole and a 10" enclose box in the trunk. i spray some foam in there the worse thing that happen was at the very end of the shelf cover where the vent is. its jumping when the base hit. so i decide to tite it down. and it work good.

Two things I did that made the biggest difference were removing the middle seatbelt from the rear deck and wedging a long strip of cardboard between the rear deck and glass, just out of sight. I've also put dynamat on the entire rear deck area, removed the stock sub, and put dynamat on the bottom of the deck cover. I have no rattles from the rear of the car but unfortunately the front door trim will rattle when I crank the volume up.

You need to take off the rear seats, then the covers for the deck and pillars.
