Question HELP!! Navigation Screen + Button

Whats up guys, new to the Acurazine community but ive looked around and seems like a great website.

I was hoping to get some help with my 2005 Acura TL. I just purchased it pre-owned (2 previous owners) and everything seems great. The only thing is that the screen does not work. I am aware that i need the NAV DVD in order to use the navigation feature but when i press the audio, display, menu or any other of those buttons nothing changes. Is this because i dont have the DVD ROM or is it a malfunction in the wiring/system? If so what would you guys recommend doing to fix it.

Ooh, even though you're missing the DVD/CD, the "Audio" part should still work...

CHeck your fuses. I forget which one it is but if you blow one of them (I did) the screen won't work.

It's one of the ones in the drivers side kick panel.

I've tried the radio fuse but all it did was make my radio ask me for a code. Got the code no problem but the audio button/display still doesnt work

By the way, the screen works. It displays the "Please insert disk" message but i dont have it. My problem is the AUDIO button (Along with that whole row of buttons) that switches the display to show the cd information on the navi screen is not doing its job.
