Help - Nav system in loop!
After trying to update my nave firmware with the ok button workaround and trip computer, my system is continually looping on the logo screen and I can't seem to get around it. Pressing and holding guide/menu/cancel doesn't do a thing. Any other way to get the system to reboot to the diagnostic screen when it's in this state? Help!
A few things you can try:
1) Remove the fuse/battery and leave the system off for a while and hope that it resets itself.
2) Remove the navi disk from the DVD ROM and force the system to fail when it is trying to load. It should give you an error message. Then you can reinsert the disk and try to get into diagnostic mode with guide/menu/cancel.
Good luck!

Thanks for these replies. No luck with removing the disk, and a brief battery disconnect hasn't helped either. I can try a longer one over the weekend, but I'm intrigued by the "two pin connector" suggestion. How do I go about that?
