Help with my audio set up, it does not sounds right....

This is the first time i have deal with component speakers and so far it sound much much worse than the cheap midrange speakers i had before.

Previous to this car i had a mitsubishi eclipse 01,
my setup was

4 midrange o2 coaxia speakers 100RMS
1 front pair of a/d/s tweeters
running them with a BOSS amp 4ch 1600w
pioneer deck 9800.

i won't mention sub at this time because is not the main problem. The detail and definition of the speakers clarity is not even there.

now after researching i wanted to have a better system and i follow most of the post in forum on what to buy. This time i wanted to do everything right and this is what i got.

boston pro 60 component set front. (passive)
polks mm6105 rear (found them cheap which is the reason i did not do coaxial rear)
alpine f600 150rms x 4
3sixty.1

doesn't matter what i do the music sound so bad compare to the clarity and definition i had before. The different is night and day compare to my system.

i have try almost everything, front stage, changing HP frequency level etc. i would like to note that the 3sixty helped a little in getting rid of the white noise but did not make my system sound much better.

at the moment is not even close and i'm starting to hate component speakers because is not has clean, bright, clear or loud has my old (Cheap) o2 speakers.

what can i do or i'm i asking for to much

bump.

Next saturday i'll be doing major upgrade ditching components speakers and going with something new with front rear and tweets. would let you know in the update.

after if everything comes out how i wanne, i would be installing a DC audio level 4 with a 1200 or 1500 rms amp custom made in trunk.

If anyone is looking for some boston pro 60 or polks mm6501 components they will be out of my system soon.

i did everything myself, the doors are sealed and dreadend with dynamite. running all component passive. They do sound good for anyone who ride in my car but it doesn't sound right to me at all. i'm already heading to LI on saturday with my cousin which has a music shop and he said that what we will be putting into my car will sound 10x better.

i don't know if it is vehicles we latino listen to very bright music like merengue, salsa, bachata, regueton and that is why i felt my o2 dj speakers sounded cleaner, brigher and more detailed but i'm not component speakers.

i'm giving them 150w rms to each speakers which is enough power to bring them to life but no luck. It does sounds better now that i install the 3sixty (instead of LOC). i'm having a small problem with the 3sixty which i'll be posting now.

I'm puerto rican fam, i know exactly what you're talking about lol

I'm 90% sure it's setup wrong.

If u were gonna get a 3sixty, you shoulda gone the pro audio route(which is what i did) instead of getting components

Ditch the crossovers and go active.

If u need recommendations on shops, pm me
