Help--LED DRL lights dim with 1000 watt amp
I have a 2008 tl with a 1000watt apline pdx 1.1000 pushing a JLw7-12. I noticed the led drl dim a little when the volume is turnt up and the speaker is kicking.
Im using good 4ga power and ground wire not that cheap stuff. Im using the factory radio so i tap into the factory sub with the line out converter. I scratched off the paint where i grounded. I've searched around here and i seen someone say 1000watt is enough for the tl to handle. So my question is do i have to change out my alternator to something with more amps or do i just have to change out the big3. Or should i not even have any problems at all and its just my conncections.

Maybe use a harness so the DRLs get their power right from the battery? Big 3 is really easy on this car, I did a grounding star around the engine to both fenders and a larger negative battery terminal. I don't have LED DRL's but nothing dims with an 800 watt amp.
