hey guys i am deciding on whether to buy a pair of jl xr components or jl c5 components for my third gen. I heard xr before and was very impressed but i never got to experience c5 components. if you own either or please send feedback for your product

 

are you fixed on JL audio... might wanna consider boston accoustics pro 60's or cdt audio has some really good sets.

 

JL > Boston Any Day...I'd highly recommend the C5's...Better x-overs soft dome tweeter...

 

I would go with which ever has the soft dome tweeters. I have a hatred for metal tweeters after having the Infinities in the car for a year. My new ID silk dome tweeters are more detailed and not fatiguing on the ears.

 

i have cdt eos 06 compontent set. its pretty amazing but i do have boston g5 subs and they are better then a W6. i would think speakers would be great too, they are rated at 3ohms wich helps in feeding them more power easier...
