Help installing Subs in 2006 TL

Hey guys, just bought my TL last week and I'm looking to putting in my 2 12" subs in the trunk. I have the navi system. Are there RCA inputs somewhere behind the navi or radio that i can run my RCA cables from my amp/sub to the factory stereo? If not what would be the best way to hook up the subs to the radio? Splicing from the current subs would bypass my amp, and the current stock amp in the TL is no where near powerful enough to make the subs go boom.

any options?

thanks

You take the speaker wire that connects to the stock sub and use a hi lo converter to turn that into an RCA output which you connect to your aftermarket amp. It retains sub controls on your aftermarket amp using the stock headunit

This thread has everything you need. The converter you need is called an LOC (Line Output Converter). http://www.crutchfield.com/S-MRp9eP0...onverters.html
