Help figuring out wiring please

I recently bought an 04 TL base that has wires ran from a LOC to an amp in the trunk. The problem is they removed the amp and there is a mess of wires and RCA's in the trunk that I am trying to figure out what goes where and what kind of amp I will need to buy.
I took some pictures. From what I could figure out, It looks like there are:

5 Alpine speaker wires. 2 of them are attatched to the wires coming down from the rear deck. 1 of them is not attached to anything and has the exposed brass wire
A blue remote wire
6 RCA's ran from the LOC. 3 are red and 3 are black

The red RCA's are labeled "F", "S" and "R", which I am assuming stands for Front, Sub, and Rear? From the LOC, they are paired with the 3 black RCAs and ran back to the trunk

My questions are:
What are the corresponding black RCA's? Are they grounds or left/right inputs?
What are the blue insulated crimp terminals on the stock amp?
and most importantly, what kind of amp would I need, and how to connect everything

Thank you!

Also, currently I obviously have no sound from the rear, but the front speakers sound blown, even at low volumes. Is this because there is no aftermarket amp and they aren't getting enough power, or are they just blown out?

I would tear out EVERYTHING in the trunk. from the factory, there isnt amp wiring in the trunk....
the factory amp is in the passenger kickwell.

if you start from fresh, ie; tear everything out and keep the OEM unit in the passenger side kick/footwell, you'll be able to sort out things better..
fyi; maybe the factory amp is going out and thus why the front speakers sound blown?

Thanks for the quick reply. I was worried that the OEM amp might be kicking the bucket, and I would hate to have to buy 2 new amps. I figured if I bought an Alpine PDX amp I could just plug and play.

If I bought a new stock amp, or the Heeltoe modded amp, how easy would it be to go back to stock? I assume I would just have to reconnect the rear speakers.

plug and play, my friend. the heeltoe modded amp is a factory amp..all you do is replace it. making sure you connect whatever was there before, except the aftermarket wiring .

Yeah, I will probably end up taking all the panels off and seeing what is going on. I don't even know if it has stock speakers. Possibly get the heeltoe modded factory amp...
Nothing is ever easy! lol

Hopefully I can pull some good sound out of this car. It will probably have to wait a few months, it is so hot out now. Unless I get super restless I don't want to rip all the panels out of my car in 100 degree weather.
