Help with a DVD/navigation drive

So the old man gives me random parts every once in awhile (quality at honda r&d), and the latest score is this navigation unit. He said it works fine, but the disc is physically stuck in the unit.

I'm at a loss of how to get it out. I was wondering if anyone had experienced this before - any input is appreciated. Thanks!

Bump mentioning this is for the 04-06 TL. I'd be happy to sell this to someone for cheap once I can get the disc out.

I did that using an old computer power supply and a volt-meter- though there's the reasonable possibility that I did it incorrectly. Worse comes to worse I can take apart my TL and hook it up to the existing wiring...

CD-ROM drives used to come with a little hole button thingy. you would take a paperclip to the button and out would come the CD. Not sure if it needed power to do this. or even if this DVD-ROM drive has the little pin hole
