I just recently bought the dice ipod integration system for my car. I am sick of looking down at an ipod and cycling through music when I can have the joy of seeing it on the navi screen. I started working yesterday removing panel by panel which is a real scare, I dont want to break those clips. I finally got the nav and radio out and plugged in the dice into the radio and set it up. The dice logo appears on the ipod screen and the I can use it through the navigation. I unplugged the rear XM transmittor located in the trunk so that it wouldn't overule the Dice(Note I only unplugged the bigger plug of the plugs on the back of the transmittor.). Now I cannot seem to figure out how to control the dice properly through the steering wheel and other control buttons. The music doesnt cycle properly and there is tremendous lag. I cannot put my car back together until I am assured that I have correctly set up the dice. Any Idea's? Does anyone have the dice model. How did you set it up? Please help I really need to use my car soon and this is an awful headache.

 

How do you have the tabs on the actual DICE module set? That's key. Some modes lock you out. I believe you have to have all the tabs in the "down" position to enable both iPod and steering wheel operation are possible.
