Ok, I got my burner installed ..

I tried twice to burn from mp3 to a dvd+r. No luck.
I'm trying a dvd-r now.

I am using the software that came with the burner, Nero6.
Is that the problem.
Do I need to use a special software program.

and what about music I have already on cd that I want to transfer... they show up in my comp as .cda files...... how do I get them to Dvd so the TL will play em.

The only application I know of that let's you create DVD-A discs is called Discwelder by Minnetonka. They have a "consumer" level version called Discwelder Bronze for about $90 online.

Then there's also Steinberg Wavelab, which is my favorite since it also gives you a very advanced audio editor and mixer.
