You should use 16bit, 2 channel (stereo) 44.1khz which is typically referred to as "CD quality" Depending on what frequency your mp3's were sampled at don't be surprised if they sound different (worse)

I see an option for 5.1 channel and 48khz, will that not work because it was compressed into mp3 format? thanks

Not really because they are mp3 but...
1) The process I scripted only works for stereo wave files so 5.1 is not stereo and 48K is not 44.1Khz

2) Unless there is such a thing as 5.1 mp3 (which there may be) I'm guessing the music was originally stereo. So there is no way a 5.1 wav file will really add anything if the original mp3 is from a stereo source.

I just fixed that. It should be 44.1 for best compatibility.
Thanks for the catch
