just picked up an 05 tl today, the car used and it came with no manuals. can anyone point me to a website that has the manual posted or instructions please? and i was told that the cd player could be hacked to play video with a simply plug and play harness, any truth to that??? any help would be greatly welcomed...

Do a search for tvandnav2go or DOM's unit and you'll find info on the conversion unit with plug and play harness needed to play dvd's. Remember you'll still need to purchase an audio interface to get audio to play into your TL's sound system. datmrman will probably have a post with links pretty soon!!!

There are several threads with guides on how to convert your navi screen to play dvd, play a hard drive media player, play PS2, or even be a carputer. Many of these threads exist on the first page of this subforum.

Please take some time to search and browse a bit, then ask any questions that you are unclear about.

The link I will give you though, is the current group buy thread to Dom's TVandNav2Go module. You will definitely need this.
