HELP!!! All I want to do is convert MP3 to wav. then burn to DVD-R
Okay, all I want to do is to simply convert my MP3 music files to wav. and then burn 99 of them on to a DVD-R that will play in the TL's player. I do not want to create any DVD-A's or buy the software to do that. I have read and searched a lot of threads and they all seems to go off on a technophile tangent for creating DVD-A's!!! Can someone please post the simplest solution or the best thread related to this problem?

You can use iTunes to burn the mp3s directly to a CD-R/DVD-R as audio. iTunes is free to download from apple.com. Make sure you check the format as Audio-Cd in the 'burning' tab of preferences. Good luck !

Wavelab
I have posted about this topic many times already..
Sorry buddy, but the only way you are going to get 99 tracks.. which from my experience is pretty dam hard to fit, more like 70-75 is by using wavelab...
with the shutdown of suprnova, and all other torrent sites except a few it may be a lil complicated finding a copy of it. But to say this again and quote my buddy above...
There is not simple way to do this, it is a good 25 min process in wavelab, you have to create audio montages, seperate the tracks, create the dvd-a project add the montages, then burn the iso and then finally burn the DVD-A...
Send me a msg and I will be glad to help you out if you like......

Wow, I just saw that they want over $500 for WaveLab. Yikes! I don't want to download stolen software, so... are there cheaper alternatives for mastering/burning a DVD-A disc that will work in our TLs?
Has anyone tried Gear DVD? I'm a little suspicious that the product description says "import and burn" rather than "create and burn".

THe cheapest software is DiscWelder Bronze. You can get it for $79-$99. Search this forum and you will find a lot of posts about this software and this process.
Wavelab is superior, but more expensive. DiscWelder Bronze is down and dirty but it works.
