Im installing a new aftermarket hu this weekend. I need to know if i have to disconnect the factory amp?? Im upgrading front stage speakers. Do i have to run new wires for the front speakers for the aftermarket amp?? Search the forum but have no luck....

 

You don't "have" to, but I would suggest it. I ran 14gauge to all my speakers, 10 gauge to my sub and 4 for power/ground
