I have a good question I'm about to get oem headlights but the guys doesn't know what wht his headlights from 04 or 07 acura. I'm buying those heads just to mod them. So i was wondering if they are 07 is that possible to fit them on my 04 tl? should i modify any brakets in order to put them in>?

 

You'll need the new slimmer ballasts.

06 and up used slim ballasts.

Also, if they are Type-S, the turn signal bulbs are different.

Other than that, perfect fitment. No need to mod brackets or anything.

 

ballasts are pricey is that possible to stick the old ones in?

It seems like the heads are from base 07 TL model.

Did anyone tryed to put 04 ballasts into 07 heads?

 

What is the thickness difference?
I ask, because I have a set of DENSO ballasts laying around
