Head unit

Anybody know any good aftermarket headunits for an 07 TLs? That keeps all the same functions, mine went out..

Get another ELS one - it does more than just music, especially if you have a navi. Look at the code on the tape deck plate and find the same unit. It should be 1TB1, 1TB0, or something like that. You can find used one on eBay or otherwise online.

Yah I hve a 100$ deductible so I wanted to maybe go aftermarket since thats all i would be paying...

It's not as easy as just replacing a head unit with an aftermarket. If there was I'm sure quite a few of us would have already done it. There's a bit of fab work to do as there is no kit made for the TL

It might fit the hole but there's a ton of cosmetic work that needs to be done. You also lose the steering wheel controls, some navi functions (which is debated), Bluetooth, and HFL.

You can get a brand new one in the Acura wrapper for a little over $300. A new one lists for about $1,200 if I remember right.

The stock HU is actually pretty good.

You've got a twisted idea of perfectly.

Yes, OEM will be simplest. An aftermarket is very doable, but requires a fair amount of work to look even kind of respectable.
