Regular HU for Nav HU without Nav ability tho
I have an 06 and I hate the HU. I was wondering if it was possible to replace the stock HU with a 07/08 Nav HU but without the navigation ability.
I've read about the swap and it seems like too much work for the navigation ability when my $500 garmin can do the same thing plus I get updates and traffic for life.
Basically can i just swap out the HU to a Nav one? If I can, I would hook up a backup camera w/sensors to it. Would not having the nav ability on the nav hu make it unusable?
