So i searched but found nothing. As of 3 days ago multiple times a day i have to enter my navi code to pull it up. The trunk unit was replaced about 6 months ago and has never given me an issue. i do have Navtool, Isimple, and DVD setup.

When i get in and start it i hit my toggle switch to bring up navi and when it pops up it is the code screen. put it in and sometimes it looks for satalites and sometimes it just goes strait to the ok screen. NO radio issues at all, still works perfect and doesn't need a code. Battery is good so not draining the power.

WTF?? any ideas...

 

 

if you know for sure that the unit is not to blame then it's loose wiring
nav and radio get their power from different harnesses
can be a royal pain to troubleshoot

 

i dont know for sure it's not to blame. i just stated i replaced it already and have had no problems with it.

looking for anyone that has had or heard of this issue...
