Anyone have their HFL just flat out quit. When I bring it up on the MID, it says Booting Up and nothing works

I don't even use it anymore. I had mine froze on me a few times and the radio didn't work nor did the voice commands. I had to turn the car off and start over, not to mention the outgoing calls are flat out BAD. I'm not sure if it's the phone I'm using (Blackberry 7100) or whatever, but I'm just using a Bluetooth earphone these days.

I had this happen twice within a couple of days several months ago. Turning the car on and off did not help. However, the glitch disappeared after 1) I cycled the bluetooth on my phone to "off" and then back to "on" 2) before restarting the car some minutes after turning the engine off. The problem has not recurred, and my phone and HFL work quite well.

I had the bluetooth part go out on me at 5000k. would not see my phone.
Dealer replaced the unit under warranty with no problems.

Thanks for the input. I give Will Y.'s technique a try and if it doesn't work, it'll be off ot the dealer.

This happened to me also on a BRAND NEW (<200 miles) car. Although probably unrelated, the battery was dead the next day. After the car was jump started, the HFL started working again. Hasn't happened since...

My Palm Treo 650 crashes once in a while, but the HFL is never the problem.
