Post Hands Free question

Hi all,
While using my Treo 650 in my 2006 TL, sometimes the Bluetooth will pick up a call I make on my cell phone. If I dial without going through the HF the number I call rings and the HF picks it up for a split second then goes back to the XM radio. Other times it picks it up the entire call.

1. Any other have this?

2. Where is the antenna that pick up the signal to/from your cell phone?

Thanks

No Nav. The speaker is up by the control for the sunroof. Maybe there?

I have this same basic thing happened to me as well. For me, (Samsung A900) when the phone first pairs with the car, the first call will dial and ring once over the car speaker then transfer to the phone. Then after the first call (with this happening) all subsequent calls work as they should. My solution right now is to call my voicemail number and let it ring once then hang up...

I think the actual Bluetooth antenna is in the ceiling console near the microphone.

I find I get the best cell signal and Bluetooth signal on my Cingular Treo 650 by placing the phone leaning back in the front-most cupholder with the display facing the front of the car. For some reason, that placement means fewer dropped calls and less Bluetooth problems.

I have a similar problem with my Motorola V710 from Verizon. Actually, the problem just started to occur recently. Is there a way to completely reset the HFL system without disconnecting the battery or interrupting power to any of the cars other components?

I don't know if this would work, but you could try removing the unit from the ceiling and leave it unplugged for several minutes. I think all the HFL "guts" are in the ceiling console.

I also noticed another weird thing today. When I have an incoming call while on another call, it cuts back to the radio. At this point I can not even talk on the handset itself??? After the phone shows no activity on it, it will work with the HandsFee Link again?
