Hello,

I have a 2004 TL and about 2 months ago my HFL stopped working. I am still able to pair my phone and everything is recognized. My microphone still works since I can still talk to the system. Everything is pretty much perfect until I get a call. I answer it and it is as if 2 people are quiet on each side of the line. When I speak I am not heard and I do not hear when I am spoken to. It's kind of weird since everything is pretty much working. I don't know the cause of this and if anyone has an idea please let me know. I have an iPhone 4S but the HFL stopped working with my iPhone 4. The problem is persisting. Thank you in advance.

If the iPhone has them, check the "Headset" settings-- should be "off"-- and "Car" settings-- "auto-answer" should be "off" for the HFL to work.
