Grossest bandpass story.
I found one con to running a bandpass with the port into the skipass...
The way mine is setup, the subs face up, the port is between the rear seats, and there's about 6" of space in front of the sealed enclosure inside of the ported inclosure.
Today I get in my car to go to work, everything is fine. I did my 45 minute commute and once I got to work I changed into my boots with the door open.
Lunch comes around and I get in the car and there's a terrible odor. I leave the windows down and search the car, under the hood, and in the trunk for a rodent or food that I may have forgotten. Nothing.
I get in to go home, left the windows cracked but the smell was almost too bad to get in. I opened all doors and let it air out for a few minutes and drove with the windows down.
When I got home it was dark so there was no sense in looking around. Just for fun I suck my hand in the port of the sub enclosure and touched something soft, cold, and a little moist. I'm getting ready to pull it out but thought I would share before I do and while I'm searching for gloves. This sucks because I have to contort my arm to get in there so hopefully it comes out in once piece. I would hate to tear apart this awesome box. The really bad thing is it felt large, like a small cat.

That's what I'm thinking but I don't know if it would stink in just 5 hours.
I've procrastinated, the car is sitting outside with the windows down waiting for me, got to do it before work in the morning lol.
I left the door open for 30 minutes while talking to a neighbor the day before.
As sick as it is there's a part of me wanting to crank the W6s just for the heck of it right now.

small cat FTL lmao let hope it isnt. Imagine if your driving and you turn the music all the way up and you see some small cat just jump out of the port while driving 60mpg on the highway. that would totally scare the sh*t out of anyone.

WTF! thats nasty! your car must smell wonderful. i remember i bought some king crab legs one a few packs and put them in my trunk, (before i installed my system.) the pointy legs made a hole in the package and crab leg juice spilled all over the carpet in my trunk. my car stunk for like 2 1/2 weeks.
good luck getting the smell out

I would assume because of the smell, it was plural.
I would also assume the mother cat probably went in there for a safe quiet dark place to birth them...and those were probably the stillborns.
DANG...that sucks. But at least you figured it out. Poor things.
I guess this answers the age old question...
YES, all that bass in my trunk does get me pussy.

The car still smells a little. I'm going to do the commute with a window down and the bass up and hopefully get rid of it once and for all.
