Did you put in the right Radio and Navi Codes when u installed the new Battery? Try to eject the Disc from the back and clean it a little and put it back. This might work, but ive never heard of a Green Screen on the TL.

Have you tried using MAP/MENU/CANCEL (hold all together for ~5 seconds) to get to the Diagnostic screen and then run VERSION then UPDATE (or maybe it says LOAD DISC)?

I think this would re-load the version.

It could be that your DVD Player is faulty too.

dont think u need the head unit, Might just need the DVD player in the rear.

 

First try disconnecting your iPod adapter to see if it's causing the problem!

nope, where did you hook up the ipod adapter? The adapter does NOT go into the DVD player!!!!

I don't understand what you are saying.

Get rid of the ipod adapter and see if it fixes the problem.

 

If you still have issues after removing the ipod adapter, you can send the navi unit directly to Alpine to repair. It costs something like $150.00.
