So after two unanswered pm's, I decided to try and tackle this mod myself. I wanted to take the lazy route and have someone else do it. N E Who, I've worked with fiberglass before therefore, I found the molding of the iPhone/iPod to be a walk in the park, but the aluminum bracket was the most time consuming After failing at doing the double sided mod, I gave up on it. Two weeks later I decided since I already had money invested in this thing might as well attempt to finish it. After I ran into “Elegant TYPE S” write up gave me the idea to just do the one side mod

Not as clean with the original mod but it works for me. Haven’t had time to actually install, I’ve been driving this beast around until my brother is done with my TL so we can swap cars again.

I like this Idea Better cause you still have a Cup Holder Just In case... I could do without all the CF Vinyl but it looks great. I wish I knew how to mess with Fiberglass... FML I love this mod

 

I actually thought of you when I did this, since we was going back and forth on the other thread. I originally made two iphone moldings since I tried to do the double sided mod..
