Got rid of my component and went midrange audio.
i had the boston pro 60, and polks mm6501. both excellent components and sounded really good but were never loud enough. I have always had in my car beyma, whip audio and those midrange speakers famous in new york. Well yesterday i did my full upgrade (or downgrade) which every you want to call it.
i went in the front with 6.5 o2 pro with titanum tweeter, rear i went with 8" o2 mirange with bullet o2 tweeters. i kept my same amp (alpine f600).
I never in my life have had a louder system than what i just installed. i would say that you would have permanent ear damage if you listen at high volume for more than 1 minute. While it does sound nice and clean at very loud volume. My concern with component was when i wanted to get loud it was not possible because the component would not let me.
i have to upgrade my type r fast because after this upgrade my bass cannot keep up with my audio.
