Hey there...have an American 3.2 TL Type S with Navigation and On Star!!
I really need to know if possible can i put my Alpine system/DVD/Amp/Sub/Component Speakers in this without altering Navigation? As for On Star i couldn't care less. I also couldn't care less about the crappy 5 speaker Bose system either...it's got to go. I know somewhere this must have been discussed. Appreciate if someone can lead me in the right direction. All the installers here where i live are clueless and not offereing much for help!

 

I don't know where you live but it is possible bc the navi that is in our cars run on the dvd player in the back of our car not the head unit of the car... I have my alpine w505 with polk highs and mids and the alpine pdx amps running a 10w7 being installed at my friends shop next week. The only thing that I think will get effected is the voice in the car.

 

wrong section, you have to go to the second gen section. 1999-2003. the 04+ TL's do not have onstar or bose systems.

 

O wow I didnt even realize that before I went on telling it works...LOL
