Getting CDT CL-E61 6.5 components

im getting this set this week, already ordered everyting, components set with tweeters for 130$ CAN

specs:
Improved with EX-450 24 dB Elliptic 2-way xover
• Upgraded with TW-25s 1"silk Tweeter
• Improved overall system power handling



Midrange: 6.5" slim neodymium magnet design
Cone: Mix Fabric Fiber Glass
Crossover:EX-450 2-way Elliptic 4th/5th order
Tweeter: TW-25 1" Smooth Silk Dome
Surface & flush mount housings
Power Handling: 150 watt RMS @ 120Hz high pass
Frequency Response: 6-20kHz
Sensitivity: 91.8 dB
Impedance: 4 Ohm

sounds like a great deal... how much power are going to throw at them... make it sufficient 'cause they like alot of power...

well rodney right now im gonna start by installing them, and then ill see if i need or not to add a 2ch amp

btw how many wrms is the oem 4ch amp shooting out?

i still dont know how to remove the oem tweeters....

CDTs are some of the best speakers around. I love my set. They do take alot of power to really make them sing. The OEM amp won't be enough.

Insert a screwdriver on the side of the tweeter and gently pull up, it will pop off.

Thanks for the great picture, i will install the set this week and see how it sounds...can anyone explain to me the easiest way to hookup a 2CH amp?

Been so busy havent installed anything yet, but this week i will and i tried searching for the diy concerning the front door panel removal and cannot find it can anyone pls post the link here

4 Screws hold the panel in place.

Behind the silver door release handle are 2 screws. They're behind the plastic cover

Along the bottom of the door pull handle is a small hole with another screw.

The black rubber door stop has another screw.

That's it. remove those and gently pull the panel off. I usually start pulling the bottom portion first and make my way up the panel.

thanks bro, i also wanted to ask if the oem tweeter wires start off from the front speakers or they come right off the stock amp?
