Does anyone have any ideas where to mount my nuvi 350 unit in my non-nav tl? Before anyone jumps on me, I have a few cars and I am always in and out of rental cars for business, so the external nuvi gives me the most value for my $$.

Now that my disclaimer is out of the way..

I was thinking of placing it on next to the clock on that little platform. I was even thinking of placing it to the right side a bit, so it faces towards the driver a bit. Some simple double sided tape and then maybe even running the tower through that corner, hides everything nicely.

I don't want to advertise my placing the suction cup on the fron windshield. Also, the power will be hanging across.

Anyones else come up with any ideas?

Go to http://www.proclipusa.com They have a clip designed for the TL. Works great and mounts on the trim just below the right radio knob. They also have the necessary hardware for whatever device you wish to mount to the clip including the Nuvi. No vibration, easy to see and the Nuvi always has a strong signal at this position. I think they also have one that mounts to the vents but I have no experience with it.
