Galaxy SIII owners - any trouble with HFL?
My HFL has been acting up on me lately ever since I changed out my Evo for a GSIII. I can make phone calls and receive phone calls, but the I cannot hear the other person in either circumstance. I don't know if this is because my Galaxy has an incompatible version of Bluetooth for the older TL or if it's something not right in my settings but for the life of me I cannot figure it out.
Anyone else experience this?

I have the ATT version and everything works fine, I had to do a master reset though to get it to sync up. Maybe you should try that?

I have the same issue, if I make a phone call the phone will ring but in order for me to hear over the speakers I will have to click on Headset on my S3 then it will link. But I only get this issue when I make a phone call, when I recieve a call it works fine.

I have the Galaxy S3 from Sprint and a 2004 TL and I'm definitely having problems. No issues with pairing, but the in-call experience is bad. Every 10-20 seconds, the caller will "stutter" (much like the 1980s TV show, Max Headroom). It will sounds like "H-h-h-h-h-hello there". It's driving me so crazy! Anyone else have this issues? More importantly, anyone have some ideas for a fix? I've got the latest software on my phone, tried unpairing & re-pairing, all to no avail.

Tried deleting old phones, re-pairing, etc. My EVO 4G and EVO 3D worked great - something's up with the Samsung.

They walk among us...
Having same issue for my SGIII, my HGL won't show up on my phone either. It's like it's looking for air to pair with.. I have verizon as well...Grrr...
I have a 2007 RDX but can't tell if there are other phones linked to it. Maybe I will try to see if those profiles still exist.

Yes, same issue with my Galaxy S3 and my new S4 with my 2004 TL. I laughed and thought the same thing - Max Headroom. Well, it's funny the first couple times, then quickly turns into a nightmare!

I thought my HFL was messed up so I put it in the oven for 8 minutes at 385 degrees, let it cool completely and did it again.
Well, I was not pairing it right so I don't think the HFL was the issue to begin with.
But afterwards I was able to pair my Samsung Galaxy SIII and seems all functions work properly. At least the ones I have tried so far.
Not sure what the issue is JJH. Should be able to make it work. Make sure you phone is in search mode and follow the pair directions for Bluetooth and do the pin code.
Should pair right up. Maybe do a full clean of your Bluetooth and clear all phones and try again??
Good luck
