I installed infiniti kappa components in the front and back of the car.
The trunk has a custom ported box with 2 JL audio W6 v.2.


The amps that are powering up these puppies are:
Inside = Jl Audio 300/4
Trunk = Jl Audio 1000/1

CLEANSWEEP INSTALLED as well.... Im having a huge problem with this clean sweep. When the volume is all the way down there is a hissing comming out of my inside speakers. Also after the volume is past 30 NO MATTER HOW THE VOLUME is set on the gain from the clean sweep there is MAJOR DISTORTION.


SOMEONE HELP ME GET THIS DISTORTION OUT AND THE HISSING OUT!!!!

 

sounds like it could be related to the ANC (active noise cancellation). Do a search about how to disable it... Hope that helps///

 

Solution = Get rid of the CleanSweep.
I've installed many of them over the past 4 years. Most people don't notice the hissing and distortion problem. But it's always there. I would try to recalibrate the CleanSweep using a lower volume. However, there are better products out there that will give you less hassle. I used the Audio control 24XS is my TL and an Audio Control LC6i in my Accord. I attended a JL Audio confrence last year in Seattle and the CleanSweap was given much flack by installers for these problems. JL Audio is aware and will not offer a newer version in the future.
