Why is my Navi sending me four states away to go to Maggiano's, Cicruit City, etc. I know that these stores are within 30 minutes away from my location and they have been there at least 4 years.

Is there anyway to make searches more productive? Can I restrict to a, lets say, 50 mile radius?

There's an option on the Navi menu for "Sort by distance from current location." That's the best way. It's not as easy as just saying "Find nearest ATM," but it's more accurate.
